Our Philosophy
Mill Plain United Methodist Christian Preschool is a program designed to nurture a love for learning in the young child.
We believe the primary responsibility for the education of children lies with the parents, at the same time we acknowledge the important role of the church. We therefore see the school as an extension of the church and a partner of the home.
We believe a child’s education, like a house, is built upon a foundation (Matthew 7:24; Luke 6:48). We endeavor to integrate Christianity with academics in laying the groundwork for that foundation.
Each child is encouraged to learn at a pace suited to his or her own ability. When children are challenged with high expectations, they respond with enthusiasm to learning.
CURRICULUM
Our preschool uses the highly regarded Abeka preschool curriculum.
CLASS TIMES
3’s and 4’s schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am- 12pm.
Pre-K’s Class 4 days per week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Morning Class: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m
TUITION & FEES
There is a $100 per child, non-refundable registration fee.
2025/2026 Monthly Tuition Fees
Age 3: $300
Age 4: $300
PreK: $350
Please note, children must be potty trained to attend preschool.
Mill Plain United Methodist Preschool follows CDC, DOH, OSPI and DYSF guidelines to provide a clean and sanitary school environment for your student.
